Writing in his column for OK! magazine, he penned: ‘I have been asked this question so many times over the last few years – will Emily and I have any more children? Well, last week we proudly announced that we are indeed expecting another child.

‘We are both so excited, as are all the children, and as a family we are extremely happy. Thank you for all the lovely messages so far. We will keep you posted!’

Elsewhere in the column, he gushed about his pride for his 10-year-old daughter Millie after she won a silver medal in a gymnastics competition.

Peter added: ‘What I love is that all of my children each have different wants and likes, and are all good at individual things.’

It comes after his eldest daughter Princess, 16, reacted to the news she was getting a seventh sibling.

She commented on Peter and Emily’s pregnancy announcement by simply writing: ‘Congratulations’ along with a red heart emoji.

Back in 2021 Peter admitted that his eldest child Junior was skeptical when it came to having more siblings, as there would be at least a 16-year age gap between the teenager and a new little brother or sister.

Peter explained: ‘I understand what he meant about the age gap, but I said to him there’d be 16 years between [him and a] new child.’

He continued: ‘I said to him, my brother Andrew – who has sadly passed – and I were 16 years [apart]. He was my best friend. My other brothers know this, but he was my favourite brother. I looked up to him. I don’t really think it matters.’

In July Peter hinted at his future family plans during a candid chat on Vicky Pattison The Secret To podcast.

‘Children… I was like, when I get to 50 I’m done and then I find myself having conversations with [Emily] going, “Yeah you know, if we did have another child, where would we put Junior?”‘.

He went on: ‘I can’t even believe we have those conversations and that makes me think that I just don’t know, it’s just one of those things. It’s just weird that we even have those conversations, so I don’t know’.

Before adding: ‘Listen, us guys can wishful think all we like, right, but it’s going to be up to her’.

Meanwhile, Emily revealed in October last year that the married couple had not yet reached their ‘dream’ number of kids.

Speaking to HELLO!, she said she has always wanted three kids, while Peter has always wanted five.

Emily shares two children with Peter, while he has two more from his previous marriage, meaning if they added another member to their family, they’d both reach their respective dream numbers of kids.

She revealed her and Peter had not discussed this with each other until a few months before, and were pleasantly surprised to see their dreams aligned.
