He is known for his gushing professions of love for his wife Nicola Peltz of one year.

And Brooklyn Beckham was once again feeling loved-up on Thursday, as he took to social media to share images of a family dinner.

The aspiring chef, 24, posted pictures of Nicola with his sister Harper, 12, and his grandmother Sandra, 74, and branded the ladies: ‘My girls’.

Alongside the pictures from his night out with ‘his girls’, he also shared an image showing him working hard at his cooking – a defiant move that comes just days after he hit back at trolls over criticism of his chef aspirations.

The son of superstars Victoria and David has used his Instagram platform as a launchpad for a career as an aspiring celebrity chef, however he has frequently been met with mirth from scathing critics about his videos.

His cooking has come under fire in the past as many have slammed either his simple recipes, use of pricey ingredients or bandied around accusations of nepotism.

In a new interview with Insider, Brooklyn insisted he is not fazed by the criticism as  he knows himself he is ‘working his bum off’ and ‘cooking makes him happy’.

He said: ‘To be honest, I’m used to the hate. It doesn’t really bother me. Cooking makes me happy. I have more important things to worry about than people saying a little bit of rubbish about me… I’m doing my thing and working my bum off’.

Speaking to the publication, Brooklyn said: ‘To be honest, I’m used to the hate. It doesn’t really bother me. Cooking makes me happy. I have more important things to worry about than people saying a little bit of rubbish about me…

‘My message to them is to keep writing whatever they want to write. There are always going to be people out there who try and pull you down.

‘I’m doing my thing and working my bum off. So they can keep writing what they want, but it’s not going to bother me — I’m just going to keep doing my thing’.

Just last month, Brooklyn shared his most recent cookery video on Instagram, in which he was raking in cash from a brand partnership.

Taking to the photosharing site, he spoke fans through making a cake using avocado oil, as he detailed the various stages before tucking into the treat at the end.

In the caption for the post, Brooklyn declared the video was a partnership with Chosen Foods, a brand of avocado oil, which he has previously plugged and in the latest clip he showed both the pure oil form and spray version of the ingredient.

Back in June, he came under fire for using an entire bottle of the same oil to make fried chicken – with fans branding him ‘out of touch’ – while his mum has spoken in the past about avocado oil being part of her militant diet.

Brooklyn, who has previously come under fire for his ostentatious ingredients including truffle and a £60 rib of beef, was once again being ribbed for his choices.

In 2021, he landed himself in the middle of a furious foodie frenzy after baffling Today show viewers by appearing on a live cooking segment – during which he simply ‘assembled a sandwich’.

Brooklyn appeared on the US programme, when he shared his ‘recipe’ for an English breakfast sandwich, a dish that he ‘learned from his great-grandma’.

Explaining that he developed a passion for cooking while in lockdown, during which he began posting videos of himself whipping up dishes on Instagram, he then ran hosts Hoda Kotb and Carson Daly through his sandwich-making process.

But while the Today hosts were quick to praise his simple creation, viewers were up in arms over the decision to feature such an easy-to-assemble dish, with many branding the clip ’embarrassing’ and ‘painful’.
