Police have swooped in on a prominent member of the Alameddine crime family in Sydney‘s eastern suburbs after a month allegedly on the run.

Ahmad Alameddine was arrested following a police operation at a residence in South Coogee, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, on Tuesday.

The 33-year-old has allegedly been on the run from police after jumping the fence at his parents’ Greenacre home as elite officers swooped in.

It is understood Mr Alameddine again attempted to run from police on Tuesday.

A police spokesperson confirmed one person had been taken into custody following a search warrant at a home on Bundock St about 9am.

Ms Heffer, who was previously married to slain Lone Wolf bikie Yusuf Nazlioglu, and Mr Alameddine’s sister, Susan, who was also charged with hindering police after the raid, have not entered pleas and remain before the courts.

Mr Alameddine is wanted over multiple alleged offences, including disposing of two guns into a neighbouring property in June.
