A Texas teenager murdered his parents and two siblings because he thought they were ‘cannibals’ and ‘planned to eat him’, according to an affidavit.
Cesar Olalde, 18, faces charges of capital murder for the deaths of both of his parents, his older sister and little brother during an incident at their family home in Nash, Texas, on Tuesday.
According to an affidavit filed on Wednesday, Olalde is said to have shot and killed his parents Reuben and Aida, as well as his older sister Lisbet and brother Oliver.
The documents state that Olalde shot all four and then dragged their bodies to a bathroom in the property before barricading himself in the house.
It is also claimed that Cesar made statements at the time of the incident that he had killed his family because they were cannibals and they were going to eat him.

Authorities say that Joseph Flieder told cops that Olalde had said he had killed his family, after Flieder stopped by their home to check on his co-worker Lisbet who had failed to show for work.
Flieder told police that other friends and family of the Olalde’s had called their local church looking for information as to her whereabouts.
Flieder said that when he and his wife appeared at the residence he got not answer at the door and another Olalde family member arrived on the scene.
The two decided that they would force entry to the property to check on the family and were confronted by Olalde as they entered, who was allegedly brandishing a firearm.
After having his wife leave the residence, Flieder told police that Cesar made statements that he killed his family because they were cannibals and had plans to eat him.
It is also claimed that Olalde frequently pointed a firearm at Flieder throughout the exchange and brandished a knife at him also.
Flieder managed to escape the property before Olalde was taken into custody after cops arrived on the scene and surrounded the property.
Inside the residence, authorities said they found each of the victims shot multiple times and deceased inside a bathroom.
