Cam admitted it feels ‘a lot more real’ now the couple have found out the baby’s gender and Emily said she ‘knew it was a boy’ all along.

Emily said: ‘I just knew it was a boy straight away. We were referring to bump as “him”, and we both just had a strong feeling.

‘We ended up going for a 20 week scan with the NHS, and we were always going to have a cake done and to do that they needed to put our results in an envelope, but the NHS refused to do that – maybe in case it’s wrong or something like that.

‘So we ended up waiting another week to go private and they then put the results in an envelope for us and we went to the baker and had a cake made and then announced it on the first episode of our podcast.’

The couple added that trying not to open the gender reveal envelope was ‘really hard.’

Cam said: ‘I had to take it off Emily. I was sat with the envelope between my legs thinking “we could just open this right now.”

Elsewhere in the episode, Emily and Cam revealed they have been busy coming up with names and even joked they would have chosen Lana for a girl, in reference to the cone in Too Hot To Handle.

However the couple went on to say they could shuffle the letters in Lana to Alan now they know they’re expecting a baby boy.

Emily said as soon as they found out the gender the couple both told their parents straight away with Cam adding he can’t wait to watch Marvel and Harry Potter with their bundle of joy.

Emily added: ‘Cam isn’t the sporty type though, so I’m not sure we’ll have the fittest of kids.’

It comes after Emily revealed to People this baby was a ‘miracle’ after they suffered an ectopic pregnancy 19 months ago.

She said: ‘After what happened last time, I didn’t even know if I’d even want to get pregnant again in case I had to go through that again. It sounds cliché, but it really is our little miracle. This is what I’m so excited for, to be able to tell people it is possible.

Emily said she realised she was pregnant again just two weeks after conceiving – and revealed the pregnancy was a happy surprise as the pair ‘weren’t really trying’ and she was on her period at the time of conception.

She said: ‘I know it sounds kind of crazy, but because I’ve been pregnant before, I just had the same symptoms. My boobs are really small naturally, and they swelled up straight away. It’s just woman instincts.’

The star told Cam she was pregnant on a trip to celebrate his birthday in October, saying: ‘I wish I recorded his reaction because it looked like someone had seen a ghost I’ll say it wasn’t the reaction I was hoping for, but he’s more of a realist.

‘I think, because of what happened last time, he was just very skeptical, and he was just worried, I think, is what it came down to. He was just like, “But what if it happens again?”‘

Due to her previous ectopic pregnancy, Miller underwent an early scan at seven weeks – with doctors giving her the all-clear at 12 weeks pregnant.

Emily and Cam met on season two of Too Hot To Handle which aired in June 2021, and having moved in together only a month and a half into their relationship, Camily had been the programme’s only couple to survive in the real world.

They marked their three year anniversary on December 18.

The season two finalists previously revealed they had sex seven times a day for a week when the show ended.

The couple had an instant connection from the moment they walked into the villa and admitted they got a bit carried away once they were finally able to sleep together.

The Too Hot To Handle star detailed the tragic news about her ectopic pregnancy in a lengthy post to Instagram on 2022, telling followers that she ‘collapsed in pain’ and was rushed to hospital.

Emily detailed that she was ‘extremely emotional’ after the surgery and suffered a panic attack, adding that despite the physical pain, ‘mentally it was even harder.’

The television personality explained that despite the ‘shock’ pregnancy she was ‘quite excited’ before being admitted to A&E with stomach pain.

Alongside a photo for her hospital bed, Emily penned: ‘So a few weeks ago I discovered I was pregnant. Although it was a shock it was something I was also quite excited about.

‘However on Tuesday. I collapsed whilst being at the shops. I cannot even describe to you the pain- it felt like my whole stomach was collapsing and was quickly rushed to hospital. I waited in A&E until 3pm the next day, when I finally got my scan.’

She continued: ‘As I laid on the table squeezing Cams hand the 2 nurses were so silent. I asked if everything is ok and she replied ‘I’m just going to get my colleague for a second opinion’ as the 3 nurses gathered round it was then they confirmed I had something called an ectopic pregnancy.

‘For those who haven’t heard of this (like me) it’s basically where the fetus gets stuck and grows in your Fallopian tube which is fatal and if I had left it much longer my Fallopian tube would of burst.

In June 2022, Miller revealed she suffered an ectopic pregnancy, after finding out she was pregnant a few weeks before

‘It’s one of those things you just think will never happen to you. I was just so scared. Not only was I about to lose my baby but I was about to have my Fallopian tube removed with the potential of my ovary too.

‘All I wanted to do was speak to my mum and I’m pretty sure I scared all the poor women in that waiting room with my crying.’

An ectopic pregnancy is when a fertilised egg implants itself outside of the womb, usually in one of the fallopian tubes.

The fallopian tubes are the tubes connecting the ovaries to the womb. If an egg gets stuck in them, it won’t develop into a baby and your health may be at risk if the pregnancy continues.

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to save the pregnancy. It usually has to be removed using medicine or an operation.
