Amber Gill has revealed she’s in a new romance, 16 months after she was dumped by her Love Island boyfriend Greg O’Shea.
In a new interview, the reality star, 23, enthused she’s ‘really happy’ but kept her beau’s identity a mystery.
The influencer, who recently shed one stone in just six weeks, confirmed she met her partner before the UK’s coronavirus lockdowns, and admitted her love interests ‘need to be confident’ in order to date her.

When asked if she was ‘single and ready to mingle’, the TV star told Entertainment Daily: ‘I’m not single and ready to mingle, that’s all I’m saying. It’s someone I’ve known from before, it’s not somebody I’ve known from lockdown onwards.
‘But yes I’m happy, I’m really happy. I like that [some men intimidated because she’s such a strong woman], I think it’s a good thing, because you weed out the ones you don’t want anyway.
‘If I am going to get with somebody then they need to be very confident and sure within themselves so it just means that the ones that are intimidated, they get found out quite quickly and I don’t waste my time.’
Over the festive season, the former beautician was seen with fitness instructor Jon Hosking, but her representatives confirmed her secret man is ‘most definitely not Jon’.

A month earlier, the curly-haired beauty sparked dating rumours with her former co-star Joe Garratt as they put on a cosy display during a night out.
Addressing the clip, Amber told MailOnline: ‘Nothing went on. Joe and I are just good friends and we were only talking. That was a bit awkward for me and him to go through, where everyone thinks that we’re kissing but that didn’t happen.
‘People are waiting for me to slip up and do something. I watched the video and there’s nothing actually going on.’

The Newcastle native was left ‘disappointed’ when rugby player Greg, 25, broke up with her less than two months after they won Love Island 2019.
During an interview on Loose Women, she admitted she was blindsided their split and hoped the couple would find a way to make their long-distance relationship work.
The media personality told the panel: ‘Obviously I’m really disappointed – I wasn’t expecting it all.
‘I was due – just this weekend gone – to fly out to Dublin to spend some time with him and we were going on a TV show together. I had to cancel because it was, like, it wasn’t working out.
‘I think our careers and the distance thing were always factors, it was something we always knew about so I don’t know what changed. I kind of wanted to make it work but it is what it is really.
‘I am disappointed that it’s over but you know I’m busy and I’ll be fine, onward and upwards from here.
‘From my point of view I still wanted to make it work. There was a call a few days before just chatting, not specifically to do with that and then definitely on that day it was a text.

‘We were texting each other… I think there was a bit of miscommunication but I think if you don’t to be with someone then you don’t want to be with someone.’
