Liam Gallagher has announced that he is set to embark on a huge arena tour next year, with venues including London’s O2 Arena, Manchester’s Co-Op Live and Glasgow’s OVO Hydro.

The singer, 51, has booked up dates in massive venues across the UK and Ireland to celebrate 30 years of Oasis’ 1994 debut album Definitely Maybe.

The Supersonic hitmaker tweeted on Monday: ‘I’m bouncing around the house to announce the Definitely Maybe Tour.

‘The most important album of the ‘90s bar none. I wouldn’t be anywhere without it and neither would you, so let’s celebrate together LG x.’

Tickets go on sale from 9am BST on Friday 20 October via www.ticketmaster.co.uk.

As well as performing the hits Live Forever, Cigarettes and Alcohol and Supersonic, Liam has teased fan-favourites including Whatever, Fade Away, Listen Up and Sad Song.

However, according to The Sun, just one of the band’s original line-up will join him on stage for the tour, according to the report.

Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs, 58, is apparently gearing up to reunite with Liam after the guitarist left the band in 1999, during the recording of Oasis’s fourth album.

Unsurprisingly, Noel Gallagher, 56, is said to have not signed up to join his brother on the celebration tour as the pair’s infamous long-standing feud rumbles on.

Definitely Maybe was Oasis’ debut album, which featured the smash hits Supersonic, Live Forever and Cigarettes & Alcohol

Last month, a source close to Liam told Daily Mail that he had committed himself to the tour, and while the door would be open for Noel to join, that possibility is ‘still a long way off as there are a lot of personal issues that need to be resolved’.

The Britpop band imploded in 2009 when the brothers fell out, but in recent months Liam has said he wants Noel to call him to make up.

But Liam, who could net £10 million from the concerts, recently joked to friends: ‘Who needs Noel?!’

One source close to the Gallaghers confirmed: ‘Liam is convinced he can recreate the magic of the first Oasis album, whether or not Noel is with him on stage.

‘He’s played songs like Rock ‘n’ Roll Star with his new band and the crowd erupts.’

Sources said Liam became convinced he could tour alone after he sold out two nights at Knebworth last summer.

The Morning Glory hitmakers fell out in August 2009 after Liam contracted laryngitis and cancelled a festival performance – but Noel claimed he was actually hungover.

After Noel’s allegations, Liam demanded an apology, which Noel did, but he subsequently quit the band.

Speaking at the time, Noel said: ‘I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer’.

Both brothers went on to form new bands after this, and have been embroiled in a public feud ever since.

Since then, Noel has admitted he’d considered reuniting with his former band, but noted he’d ‘only be doing it’ to ‘shut up [his] idiot brother’.

He told Vogue: ‘I’ve often thought ”Lets just do a gig.” But I realised I would only be doing it to shut this f***ing idiot up.

‘The only other thing I could come up with was burning his house down or smashing his car in… but that’s not going to solve anything is it?’
