Kayla, from Sydney’s dessert supplier Cake Mail, used a box of Nerds and Allen’s snakes to make a soft and chewy gummy rope covered in crunchy candy pieces.

To make the sweet creation, she placed a handful of snakes in a mug and then microwaved the lollies for 30 seconds.

She poured Nerds on a baking paper, which has been folded into three long rows.

Once the snakes have melted, she stirred them together until all the colours have combined. She then transferred the mixture into a giant plastic syringe. Home cooks can use a squeeze bottle or pipping bag as an alternative.

Using the syringe, she poured a layer of the gummy mixture over the Nerds. Kayla then poured the rest of the Nerds over the top.

She placed the lollies in the freezer until they were completely set.
