Marks & Spencer has delighted fans by releasing the Easter edition of the popular Colin the Caterpillar cake.

The £10 Spring-themed treat comes complete with an edible pink top hat, as well as vibrant egg decorations, and is now available in stores across the UK.

Fans of the upmarket retailer rejoiced at the news, with one exclaiming ‘another Colin glow up’, while another said the design ‘could be the best one yet’.

It comes following last year’s bunny-version of the popular cake – which featured large buck teeth and giant ears – divided opinion after some branded it ‘demonic’ and ‘the most disturbing thing they’ve ever seen’.
