‘Starting today, bring your Vaccine Card to a Krispy Kreme shop and get 1 FREE Original Glazed doughnut,’ the chain wrote on Twitter.

The offer is only available in shops or at the drive-thru, and cannot be redeemed through online ordering or delivery.

However, there is no limit to how many times a customer can claim a free doughnut, and could score one a day for the rest of the year if they keep their vaccination card on hand.

‘Whatever little things brands can do to help make it past the pandemic are good things,’ Chief Marketing Office Dave Skena told Insider.

In addition to offering customers delicious incentive to get vaccinated, Krispy Kreme is also hoping its employees will get the shot.

To that end, they are giving employees up to four hours of paid time off to get both vaccine doses.

Though they will not require employees to get vaccinated, they are encouraging it.

‘I hope that other brands will see and choose to do something similar,’ Skena said.

Finally, the brand promised to drop off free doughnuts for support workers and volunteers at vaccination sites across the US within the next few weeks.
