The popular streetwear brand Supreme — whose hyped collaborations are known to quickly sell out and then pop up on eBay for much higher prices — has teamed up with Oreo on a limited-edition pack of cookies.

The new collab, which Oreo confirms is very real, is set to be released soon, though details are scarce.

So far, both brands have released a single image of the bright-red Double Stuf cookie, which bears the Supreme logo and will come in packs of three for a rumored price of $8.

Supreme unveiled its Spring/Summer 2020 collection online, and as always, there are several pieces that have raised eyebrows.

There’s also a Supreme-branded Ziplock bags, Hanes T-shirts and boxer briefs, and a Mac Tools workstation.

But the Oreo collaboration has earned the most buzz, in part due to the unlikelihood of the pairing — and also due to the price.

According to HypeBeast, a pack of just three cookies is rumored to cost $8.

While that’s certainly a bargain compared to other Supreme items, it’s astronomically more than a typical package of Oreos.

So far, neither Nabisco nor Supreme have revealed the flavor of the cookie.

The New York Post reports that the Spring/Summer 2020 collection is set to debut at Supreme’s New York stores on February 20, and will be sold online the following week.

However, it seems at least one person has already laid hands on a packet, and is currently selling it on eBay — where bidding is up to $510 as of February 19 at 1 p.m.

Several social media users have also expressed excitement over the collaboration and their intention to buy it.

Most people on Twitter, though, are in disbelief, with one calling this a ‘parody world.’

When one asked Oreo if the collaboration was the real deal, the brand replied: ‘For real! We are absolutely as excited as you are.’

Others made fun of the hefty price tag, writing, ‘Wow $79.99 for a pack of cookies?? GTFOH Oreo’ and ‘Nobody is going to pay $200 for Oreos.’

‘They lost their damn mind thinking I’m paying $8 for 3 cookies,’ said another.
