An Australian supermarket employee has revealed the $3 product every shopper needs to try.

Liam who works for Woolworths shared a now-viral TikTok video showing a pack of two ham and cheese croissants. 

‘For $3 in the bakery section, you can get ham and cheese croissants which are perfect for those quick and easy, tasty breakfast meals,’ he said.

‘They cook in 30 seconds in your microwave…. They’re brilliant.’

Liam then offered his commentary as the croissants heated up in the microwave.

‘Look at them cook there, look at me opening up the microwave, look at me ripping them apart. Now look at me eating it… That’s why I pick Woolies,’ he said.

His video has since been viewed more than 34,000 times, with dozens of people confirming the budget croissants are ‘delicious’.

‘They’re truly the best for sure. Bakers section is underrated,’ one wrote, while another added: ‘I work at Woolies and this is my go-to meal for my breakfasts.’

Meanwhile, others shared their favourite supermarket snacks from the bakery aisle, including the two-pack spinach and feta scrolls for $2 and the four-pack bacon and cheese rolls for $3.50.

‘The mini hazelnut doughnuts from the bakery at Woolies are amazing also,’ one wrote, while another added: ‘I like their cookies.’
