A MasterChef judge has revealed the best bakeries in Australia – and you’ve probably never heard of them.

Pastry expert Andy Bowdy, who runs Saga Enmore in Sydney, has revealed the pastry cafe and bakeries across the country he thinks are best.

Ahead of the Cancer Council’s annual Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, Andy has teamed up with De’Longhi to share his thoughts on the best bakeries across the country.

He told Daily Mail Australia that Tasmania, Alice Springs and Fremantle are home to some of the country’s best bakeries – alongside Sydney and Melbourne.

In Melbourne, many are familiar with the world-famous Lune Patisserie, but Andy recommends checking out Smith’s Cakes and Aquilana Pasticceria.
