Tom Parker‘s widow has said she still talks about her late husband every day to keep his memory alive for their children.

The Wanted singer passed away aged 33 in March 2022 following an 18-month battle with stage four glioblastoma brain cancer.

Two years on, Kelsey said she is keeping his memory alive by talking about Tom every day to their two children, Aurelia, four, and Bodhi, three

She will be taking part in Wear A Hat Day which takes place on March 28 to help raise funds for Brain Tumour Research.

Speaking ahead of the campaign, Kelsey said: ‘We still talk about Tom every day, I wrote a book so the kids can read about him.’

She continued: ‘For my kids, they will be able to see what I went through and see more about our relationship.

‘I do find music quite painful to listen to, having two young kids and being a solo parent we talk about Tom all the time to keep his memory alive.

‘I was 35 weeks pregnant with Bodhi when Tom was diagnosed. It ripped our whole family apart, just surviving on my own and being the mum and the dad is so tough.’

It comes after Kelsey shared a heartbreaking tribute to her late husband as she and her children prepared to mark two-years since his death.

Taking to Instagram with sweet montage of Tom with their kids Aurelia and Bodhi Kelsey said the absence he had ‘left in their lives was huge’.

Writing: ‘Today is the first day of March and it brings with it the painful reminder that this is the month lost Tom’.

‘I still can’t quite believe it is almost two years since he passed. I know he is watching over me and the kids every day, but his physical absence from our lives is so huge.

‘I miss his banter and his laugh so much. I’d do anything to have one more day with him. I think about him every single day, and I think March will always be a difficult month.’

She continued: ‘March is also Brain Tumour Awareness month and tonight at 7.30pm I will be lighting a candle in Tom’s memory and also for all the other families affected by this devastating disease’.

‘Please join me and @braintumourrsch in raising awareness and funding so brain tumours can stop taking away our husbands, wives, parents, siblings, grandparents and our children’.

She concluded: ‘We will beat this. Sending love and light to anyone experiencing grief Kels xx’.

It comes after Kelsey revealed she had come to the ‘painful’ decision to take off her wedding rings after months of ‘torturing herself’.

Following Tom’s death Kelsey has found happiness with former convict Sean Boggans, who was jailed in 2013 for four years after he killed a man with one punch.

Taking to Instagram last month she said she wanted to do something special with her engagement and wedding ring so as ‘to honour my marriage with Tom, while not living in the past’.

Alongside a photo montage of their 13-year relationship, Kelsey wrote: ‘Hi everyone, hope you have had a lovely Sunday.

‘I wanted to share something with you all this evening. It’s something I’ve been thinking long and hard about for a while now, and as we end the first week of a new year, I have decided to take off my rings.

‘It felt really painful every time I looked at them and I have been torturing myself over when will be the right time. I know now there will never be a right or wrong time, but there does have to come a point in my life when I remove them.

‘Of course I’ll always be Tom’s, he’ll always be in my heart and I know I will forever be in his, but right now, in this world I’m not married anymore as much as that breaks my heart to admit.’

Kelsey asked fans for their creative ideas about how she could do something ‘special’ with the rings until she bestows them to their children Aurelia, four, and son Bodhi, three.

She continued: ‘Sometimes I wonder if I’ve left them on too long and other times I think I just expected to wear them forever.

‘How do I protect and honour my marriage to Tom while not living in the past?!

‘Anyway, I’m going on here, but it is something I wanted to share with you all as you give me so much love and support. Please do send me any ideas you have of what I could do with my rings, and no hate please! I want 2024 to be a positive year and I have no space for negative energy or comments. Love and light xxx’.
