Kendra Wilkinson recently opened up about her mental health battles last year.

The Playboy vet, 38, recalled being hospitalized just four months ago after suffering from a panic attack and said she felt like she was ‘dying of depression‘ at the time.

‘I was hitting the end of my life, and I went into psychosis,’ she told People in an interview published on Tuesday about the debilitating experience. ‘I felt like I wasn’t strong enough to live anymore.’

‘I was in a state of panic,’ she said. ‘I didn’t know what was going on in my head and my body or why I was crying. I had hit rock bottom.’

The reality TV personality revealed that she is now working with a therapist to unpack her trauma, some of which she said was caused by living in the Playboy mansion many years earlier.

It comes after Kendra Wilkinson revealed she was 'dying of depression' after struggling with 'unresolved trauma' from living in the Playboy mansion

Since her discharge, she said she is feeling better after being placed on antipsychotic medication and attending outpatient therapy three times a week.

Wilkinson first rose to fame about two decades ago at age 18 starring on Girls Next Door as one of Hugh Hefner‘s girlfriends.

Reflecting on that time is difficult for her, she said, explaining that she often questions her decisions at that time and finds herself questioning why she was with Hefner — who was 60 years her senior.

‘I was on drugs at age 15 and I had a lot of issues,’ she said about her childhood before she had moved into the Playboy mansion.

‘It’s not easy to look back at my twenties,’ she told the outlet. ‘I’ve had to face my demons.’

About that lifestyle, she admitted: ‘Playboy really messed my whole life up.’

At her therapy sessions, she said professionals are now helping her tackle ‘unresolved trauma’ from living in the Playboy mansion as well as her divorce from former NFL star Hank Baskett, 41, in 2019.

The former couple share two children — Hank IV, 14, and Alijah Mary, nine.

The pair had been married for nearly a decade before they split, but he was still at her side when she was hospitalized last year.

At the height of their difficult separation, however, she said she was so depressed and felt like she ‘had no hope’.

‘It was the lowest place I’ve ever been in my life,’ she recalled. ‘I felt like I had no future.

‘I couldn’t see in front of my depression,’ she continued, adding that at the time she had also been struggling to pivot her career into real estate.

‘I’m so proud of myself for battling this and finding the solution and getting the treatment I needed and it’s one step at a time,’ she said. ‘I survived.’
