From Tuesday, providing a vote passes Parliament, anyone who tests positive for Covid will need to self-isolate.
Their contacts, whether vaccinated or not, must take daily tests for seven days.
Positive results will require them to take a follow-up PCR test, and if this comes back the same, they need to isolate for 10 days.
If another PCR comes back negative, they can leave self-isolation but must start taking lateral flow tests for the remainder of the seven days.
