Charlotte Crosby has revealed she has no plans to get married anytime soon, despite putting pressure on Jake Ankers to propose.

The Geordie Shore star, 33, is seen in the second season of her hit show Charlotte In Sunderland, asking Jake when he’ll pop the question and telling him to hurry up with his plans.

Yet in an exclusive chat with MailOnline, Charlotte – who got engaged last week in Dubai – revealed that she’s planning a long engagement to give her time to welcome her second child.

The reality star welcomed daughter Alba last October and revealed that by the time she films the third season her hit reality show she plans to be pregnant.

Revealing she had ‘no inkling’ that Jake was planning the lavish proposal, she confessed: ‘Getting married was never really top of my priorities, having another baby was.’

She added: ‘I don’t think we’ll get married for three years and I’ve always wanted a long engagement.’

Charlotte also laughed off the thought of turning into a bridezilla, explaining: ‘I’ve never met anyone  more laidback than me!

‘I’ve not given the wedding a second thought. I want to get a wedding planner, tell them “make it amazing” and then I’ll just show up! Jake doesn’t want to have a say init either, we’re not precious about it.’

Fans will be able to see Charlotte adjusting to motherhood and the lead up to her engagement in her BBC Three show, and while she gives an open and honest look at her life and her vulnerabilities, she explained why she wasn’t worried about sharing so much.

‘If you look back at all my other shows, going out, getting drunk, everyone sleeping together, well this is pretty tame in comparison!’ she shared.

Charlotte has famously had sex on camera, had wild arguments and wet herself and while she faced trolling for her drunken antics, she revealed that she refuses to live life with any regrets.

‘It would always be on mind if I did that,’ she explained. And as for the trolling she’s had over the years, she revealed that her mother’s breast cancer diagnosis last year has put everything in perspective.

‘I’m going through my mum having cancer, what the trolls say doesn’t mean s**t to me when you think about that’, she reasoned.

While Charlotte is able to shrug off comments from trolls, she revealed that she did suffer from insecurities after welcoming baby Alba.

Revealing she had a ‘body image crisis’, Charlotte – who has spent a reported £20,000 on cosmetic surgery over the years – revealed: ‘I don’t normally care about my looks being criticised but when I first had alba I was in a very sensitive place.

‘My hormones were all over the place and I was overthinking too much.

‘I dissolved all my lip filler and said I’d never get them back again – I was thinking no one will have anything bad to say if I dissolve them.

‘But it was the worst decision I ever made because for the next few months I felt vile. I was really struggling with how I looked.’

Charlotte has been transforming her body naturally through her health and fitness regime but revealed she didn’t feel the pressure to ‘snap back’ after giving birth.

She explained: ‘I didn’t feel pressure from anyone else but I did feel a bit with my job and being on camera all the time – I didn’t want to feel bad.’

Offering advice to any new mothers who might be struggling with their body, she said: ‘Just give yourself time. It took a full year before I started feeling really OK with myself.’

Charlotte in Sunderland will return to BBC Three at 9pm on Wednesday 8th November. The series will also be available on BBC iPlayer.
