Chris Brown is accused of beating a music producer with a bottle of tequila at a London nightclub – causing injuries so severe that the man ended up in the hospital.

The 34-year-old rapper is being sued by Abraham Diaw, who is seeking damages after Brown purportedly hit him over the head with a bottle of Don Julio 1942 tequila.

Diaw claimed Brown pummeled him over the head with ‘crushing blows’ at Tape London on February 19, where the singer was celebrating the UK leg of his Under the Influence tour.

The producer said that he has known Brown for nearly a decade and thought he was approaching for a hug before striking him with the bottle.

Diaw was allegedly knocked unconscious, before Brown continued to kick him as he lay on the club floor.

The music exec alleged that London police have surveillance footage of the attack.

Diaw claimed he had to be hospitalized as a result of his injuries, which included cuts on his head and torn ligaments in his leg.

The injuries may be permanent, he said – adding that he suffers ‘serious emotional distress and trauma.’

Speaking to The Sun two months after the alleged attack, Diaw – who asked to conceal his identity at the time – said Brown instigated the attack.

‘He hit me over the head two or three times,’ the producer claimed.

‘My knee collapsed as well. He’s making out it was one of his entourage but it was him.’

Diaw added: ‘I’ve spoken to the police and they hope to resolve the matter soon. It’s now in the hands of my solicitor and I can’t comment further.’

He mentioned that he needed crutches after being discharged from the hospital.

One of Diaw’s friends told the tabloid: ‘He was badly beaten up. He’s on crutches and can’t walk and faces months of physiotherapy.’

At the time, Brown’s camp feared that his visa would be revoked.

The singer’s reps said that he planned to visit a police station for questioning on March 29, following the conclusion of his tour.

However, he was able to leave the country and return to the United States.

‘Chris knows he will be arrested if he goes back to the UK but is still doing everything he can to avoid it,’ a source told The Sun.

‘But he is also concerned he could potentially be picked up in any country with an extradition treaty with Great Britain. Nobody can work out why he was ever allowed to leave the UK.’

The lawsuit comes in the wake of several other legal challenges including a suit concerning a loan that was allegedly used to purchase two Popeyes locations.

City National Bank filed the lawsuit in California. The bank has been seeking repayment since 2018, and as of February 17, there remains an unpaid balance of $2,140,901.74 in principal and interest.

Brown is embroiled in another lawsuit brought by two former housekeepers, who claimed that one of his dogs attacked them.

Maria Avila demands $71 million for her injuries, while her sister Patricia seeks compensation for ‘extreme emotional distress.’

Brown is infamously remembered for his checkered past with singer and Fenty businesswoman Rihanna.

The duo dated from 2007 until February 2009, when Brown was arrested for physically assaulting the pop star.

He pled guilty to a felony assault charge and agreed to a plea deal that included five years of probation, community service, and domestic violence counseling.

Rihanna dropped the five-year restraining order that was instated – but the incident nevertheless cast a shadow over Brown’s musical career.

The rapper said he felt like a ‘monster’ in a clip from his 2017 documentary, Chris Brown: Welcome to My Life.

He described how things took a turn for the worse after he admitted to his sexual past with a woman who once worked for him.

‘She hated me,’ Brown said. ‘After that, I tried everything. She didn’t care, she just didn’t trust me after that.

‘From there, it just went downhill because it would be fights, it would be verbal fights, physical fights as well. Mutual sides, it is the first time I get to say anything.’

He said both he and Rihanna were guilty of hitting each other, ‘but it never was OK. It was always a point to where we talk about it like, “What the f**k are we doing?”‘

In February – the same month as the alleged club assault – Brown took to Instagram with an expletive-filled rant slamming people for bringing up his past.

‘If yall still hate me for a mistake I made as a 17year old please kiss my whole entire a**!’ he wrote.

‘I’m f***ing 33! Im so tired of yall running wit this narrative .. You weird a** n****s are the same ones that tune in every week to see Blueface and Chrisean beat the f*** out each other in front the world.

‘But thats OK? It’s entertainment? All yall can suck my d*** disrespectfully.’
